Our Treatment Toolbox for Your Child*
DMI
Developmental Movement Integration (DMI) is a therapeutic approach that supports children with motor delays or neurological challenges by promoting the development of foundational movement patterns. Through guided, purposeful movement sequences, DMI helps stimulate neuroplasticity in the brain—leading to improvements in balance, coordination, strength, and postural control. It is especially beneficial for children with cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, or developmental delays.
Judy is certified at DMI Intermediate Level A and integrates this methodology into weekly therapy sessions as well as customized intensive programs tailored to each child’s unique needs.

TASES
Task-Specific Electrical Stimulation (TASES) is a therapeutic technique that combines neuromuscular electrical stimulation with functional movement tasks to enhance motor control, strength, and coordination. By applying targeted electrical impulses during specific activities like walking, reaching, or sitting, TASES helps children with neurological or developmental challenges improve movement patterns and functional independence.
Judy, trained under Dr. Mirav Newman, PT, DPT, integrates TASES into weekly therapy sessions and customized intensive programs, tailoring the approach to each child's unique needs. Her application of TASES aligns with current evidence-based practices, aiming to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

NISE-Spine Stimulation
NISE-Stim (Non-Invasive Spinal Electrical Stimulation) is an innovative therapy developed by Gerti Motavalli, PT, MPT, in collaboration with Dr. Gad Alon, PT, Ph.D., in 2017. This approach utilizes surface electrodes to deliver safe electrical currents over the spinal cord and specific body areas, aiming to stimulate muscle movement, enhance neuromuscular coordination, and improve motor, sensory, and autonomic functions.
The therapy is designed to be non-invasive and safe, promoting neuromodulation and neuroplasticity by stimulating the spinal cord, nerves, brain, and autonomic nervous system. This stimulation enhances communication within the nervous system, supports neural regeneration, and improves motor function.
NISE-Stim is tailored to each child's specific needs, making it suitable for children with conditions such as Spina Bifida, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, and other motor impairments. The therapy has shown significant improvements in motor and sensory functions in children aged 3 months to 18 years.
Judy has completed specialized training in NISE-Stim under the guidance of Gerti Motavalli and integrates this methodology into weekly therapy sessions and customized intensive programs, providing personalized care to support each child's unique developmental goals.

Hypervibe
Hypervibe Whole Body Vibration (WBV) Therapy is an innovative modality that delivers controlled mechanical vibrations through a platform to stimulate the neuromuscular system. By engaging muscles in rapid, reflexive contractions, WBV enhances strength, balance, coordination, and sensory integration. This therapy is particularly beneficial for children with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and global developmental delays.
Judy incorporates the Hypervibe platform into both weekly therapy sessions and customized intensive programs. By tailoring vibration frequencies and positions to each child's specific needs, she aims to improve motor function, reduce spasticity, and promote relaxation.

TheraTogs
TheraTogs is a dynamic, wearable therapy system designed to improve postural alignment, stability, and movement control in children with neuromotor challenges. Comprising a customizable undergarment and strapping system, TheraTogs provides gentle, prolonged stretch and proprioceptive input, facilitating neuromuscular re-education during daily activities. This approach supports the development of functional motor skills and enhances body awareness.
Judy integrates TheraTogs into both weekly therapy sessions and intensive programs, tailoring the system to each child's specific needs. By aligning with therapeutic goals, TheraTogs serves as an extension of hands-on therapy, promoting consistent progress outside the clinical setting.
